FA Parent Support exists to support the faculty and students of Franklin Academy. The members of FA Parent Support provide crucial volunteer assistance and financial resources for extracurricular events and projects. FA Parent Support encourages a strong communication between the school and Franklin Academy families.

What can parents do?

Franklin Academy has many opportunities for parents to volunteer. Each kindergarten through 5th grade homeroom needs a room parent to help organize grade and class events. Parents can also volunteer to supervise lunch in the classrooms so teachers can have a lunch break. Events such as Book Fairs, Art Fairs, Field Days, Career Day, and school dances need volunteers. Projects undertaken by the Grounds Committee and Teacher Appreciation Committees are examples of events run on pure parent power.
